A dynamic and experimental loop pedal collective lead by violinist Rebekah Reid. Creating unique sounds through live looping and improvisation. Music without end. No limits, no boundaries.
Täpp initially launched in 2017 as a string loop pedal duo. It has now evolved into a collective of artists from across the UK, keen to push the boundaries of music.
Täpp released their debut EP “Mixtape:1” in 2017 on Bandcamp + YouTube. It received fantastic online reviews:
"Täpp are breaking down classical music and restructuring it into a sound that celebrates both old and new, chipping away at the notions of stereotypes and shattering expectations in the process.” Bestnewbands.com
Over the past two years Täpp have featured on Worldwide FM, BBC Introducing, were runners up for the Nonclassical 'Battle of the Bands' competition in 2018 and are currently Jazz North artists 2018-2019 as part of the Northern Line scheme.
Täpp have performed at Manchester Jazz Festival 2018, Band On the Wall, Sounds Like This Festival and curated an all day music festival, Täpp Fest in August 2018.
